Prolific “Loyalty Amongst Thieves” Album Release



This is Prolific’s first solo DNB album and is one of the most Elaborate and thought out projects the Drum and Bass genre has ever seen. Prolific CEO of Foulplayrecords 2008 was approached by Mumblz wanting to do an exclusive remix of his rap group NonStopKrooks. This tune came out so hot that Pro
decided to approach other artist on the label to see how far thiscould go. Soon after hitting up legendary producers like Raiden, Mayhem, Infiltrata, and Gein this project manifested quickly into an album with elite tunes geared toward most any
drum and bass connoisseur. The specific reason these compositions are so unique is that they feature exclusive/licensed vocals from some of the largest underground hip hop rap artists in the USA which include Goretex and Sabac Red of Nonphixion, Planetery of AOTP/JMT, C-rayz Walz, Kosha Dillz, Copywrite, and Louis Logic that would never cross into the drum and bass genre nor would these producers ever be able to get their hands on these exclusive/licensed vocals! We at Foulplay feel that every producer that is featured on this album freaked the original a little different just to make each tune special in it’s own way. This album in it’s entirety encompasses all phases of drum and bass from hardstep, jump up, ragga, neuro, and even the west coast amen styles! The manufactured versions of the album will feature 4 vinyls, a mix cd manufactured in a jewel case featuring (raps, cuts, and mixes from Prolific), and a digital album that will be distributed globally via I.O.D.A., Sony Music, L.O.A.D. Media UK, ToolBox Records, and Sector Media

Down Jones “Dumb It Down” Album Release:


D-star one of USA’s legendary Drum and Bass producers has solidified a multiple album deal with Foul Play Records Inc for his premiere Dubstep album which is set to release in 2010 in the Digital, CD, and Vinyl formats. This album features 6blocc, Claw of Trillbass and Richie August as Hulk, Command Strange, Armanni Reign, Prolific, Cojaxx, NonStopKrooks, Zardonic, a6/Prodigal Son, Apollo, End Boss, Kice of Course, and Mad Cobra,. The album is a mixture of Dubstep, Glitch Hop, Hip Hop, and R & B but the Dubstep genre and a bit of east coast underground hip hop is most prevalent. The first 12” single for this album will be dropping February 2010 which features 6blocc remix of Down Jones’s “Do it Do it” and Down Jones Ft. Mad Cobra “Foul Play Represent” globally Via Load media. This album will then be released digitally March 2010 Via IODA/Sony Music Entertainment which will be big for the Dubstep genre as it continues to dominate the electronic dance music industry. Foul Play Records has set up a USA/Canadian tour to promote this release which features R.A.W., 6Blocc, and Prolific. This live show will be monumental with the insane turntablist techniques utilized by 6blocc and Prolific coupled with all the unreleased dub plates these two will be packing in conjunction with the next level rhymes of Prolific.
